The annual “Getting Paid In America” survey is a crucial part of the National Payroll Week (NPW) campaign that enables the American Payroll Association (APA) to understand American workers’ concerns and preferences about payroll and their paychecks.
In 2015, more than 34,000 people completed the survey, thanks largely to survey promotion from APA members and chapters. Brittany Hall, Program Coordinator for the Eastern Connecticut Health Network, was the 2015 grand prize winner randomly selected to receive a free paycheck and trip for two to Las Vegas. Hall received the survey link in an e-newsletter from her HR department.
“It was very insightful for me, a real learning opportunity,” Hall said. “I didn’t realize that the taxes and deductions went to so many different things. I was glad to give my opinion on what I thought was important such as healthcare and higher wages.”
The “Getting Paid In America” survey allows the APA to not only determine workers’ opinions on how they’re paid but further promote the payroll profession to a national audience. Your input is vital for the continued success and growth of the survey and NPW as a whole. Visit www.nationalpayrollweek.com to complete the survey by September 9. Once you complete the survey you’ll be entered into a drawing to be this year’s lucky grand prize winner.
